I guess I should clarify something that I didn't, with my original post. I only smoke in the basement, and in a certain part of it, that does have windows I can open up to ventilate if necessary. I don't smoke in the regular parts of my residence, including my bedroom.
One of my family friends(who I know, thanks to my mom) did set up such a smoking area in her garage, and lives up in north Georgia(and where it can get cold at certain times, during their short winter). I thought it was very cool how she decorated it with Georgia Bulldogs stuff. I used it(of course, lol), last time I visited her a few years back.

: I can imagine that if I lived somewhere with a
: different climate, I might be more inclined
: to at least set up a smoking area in my
: garage, but here in Florida, I have found
: very few times when it is too cold to go
: outside for a smoke.

: I did go to Ohio over the winter in February

: I could smoke in as the temperature while I
: was there never got above 30 degrees and was
: mostly in the teens and below. I was very
: thankful that I was able to find a smoking
: room under these conditions, but it was
: rather odd to be smoking inside after all of
: this time and I did notice that the smell
: was a little unpleasant.
