I know what you're saying, but I strongly have to respectfully disagree. Heck, I even make it a point to not smoke in front of certain people, or to wait after I see a person who's very anti-smoking to smoke after I leave that person's house/apartment/residence, and am away from where that person could even spot me before I smoke! I've always felt as long as that business is an adult-only business, plus even posts proper clear signage that they made the choice to be a smoking establishment, that they should be allowed to set their smoking policy in whatever way they want. The way I see it, I blame the concept of personal responsibility totally being blown out the door in today's society. I already make a voluntary choice not to patronize smoke-free businesses(or at least ones that have policies I disagree with, such as having a smoke-free patio), and I don't force anyone else to go along with how I feel. If a group of adults want to smoke in a privately owned establishment, why should it be anyone's business(whether it's an anti-smoking group that's vehemently against smoking, and just pushes for BOTH indoor and outdoor restrictions just for the hell of annoying smokers, a Big Pharma company pushing for bans just to put more pressure on relapsing and/or smokers that are more turning anti to purchase one of their smoking cessation products, or politicians who support these bans for the hell of it) to stop those who consent to that environment.
Sorry, but if someone objects to indoor smoking, they have ALL the rights in the world to not patronize that business, or to go to a smoke-free business. Not to mention, the fact that these same anti groups now push for the inclusion of e-cigarettes in smoking bans, just further proves my point that bans are all about 'de-normalizing' smoking, and annoying smokers(AND also those who are trying to quit, and found they didn't care for commercial Big Pharma smoking cessation products) for the hell of it. And I'll leave it at that, and not say a word further about this issue.

: Sorry guys,
:
: I guess I'm one of the rare smokers here
: that feels that (even though I have a strong
: smoking fetish and enjoy the habit
: myself)there SHOULD be a smoking ban in
: public places..sorry guys! I just feel that
: we as smokers have had our way far too long
: and it's time that the non smokers
: (especially the folks on oxygen and the ones
: that are allergic to smoke) can go any place
: they want without having to worry about
: their heath (that is already bad to begin
: with) and relax and breathe fresh clean
: air...again,don't get me wrong! I LOVE MY
: SMOKING/VAPING, but I also feel for the
: elderly who are on oxygen or others that are
: allergic to it like I had mentioned earlier.
:
: Out of respect for others who don't smoke, I
: can totally understand their frustration!
: think back to when we were kids before we
: had discovered this pleasurable habit and
: how we hated when someone..a complete
: stranger, a parent, an aunt/uncle or whoever
: blew smoke in our faces how upset and
: irritated it made some us, it was very foul
: smelling and made you say something, or
: leave the room..no? all I'm saying
: is..that's all I see and hear is a fellow
: smoker constantly b###h and complain about
: whether or not they can smoke "in
: there" do they allow smoking! "are
: you allowed to smoke in there" FOR
: CRYING OUT LOUD, GO OUTSIDE!!! IT WON'T KIIL
: YA! I DO! and it doesn't bother me a bit!
: before my wife dabbled in smoking I have
: NEVER EVER smoked around her, in the car or
: in the house or garage period! and still
: till this day I never smoke in the car or
: house out of respect for her and my pets.
:
: I'm not trying to be an @ssh--e about this
: guys, just wanting to make a point that we
: as smokers NEED to be a little more
: understanding and less pig headed when it
: comes to respecting our non smoking
: neighbors and our beloved pets as well,
: PLEASE don't take my complaint/comment the
: wrong way, try and understand where I'm
: coming from and believe me! I'm what you
: call a tobacco fiend..trust me "lol I
: LOVE MY CIGS, DIP, CIGARS..YOU NAME IT! if
: it has anything to do with tobacco I'm all
: ears!!!
:
: Great talking with ya guys,

: They have outside seating where you can
: smoke
: at the one fairly near my house......does
: that count?
:
: It is funny. I used to own 3 Subways here in
: town and most of my employees smoked. They
: were allowed to smoke in the break room in
: the back of the store. Seems like the was so
: long ago, but it was in December of 2000
: when I sold them and it was still OK then.
