My wife and heck I myself didn't really realize that I had a smoking fetish until she actually smoked her 1st cigarette at age 42. I always liked watching women smoke and sort of had nice dreams where my wife was a smoker in the dream, but I never really thought of it as a fetish.
That 1st cig was horrible but exciting for her and amazing for me as she was a complete Anti. Once the gates were opened we both came to understand it as a strong fetish. She was a trooper and learned to smoke properly using my e-cigarette and then started smoking regular cigarettes once or twice a week with me for a little over a year. She never really got into it too much even though she became quite good at taking nice long drags and deep inhales and one day she just decided that she didn't want to be a smoker and decided to quit.
When she was smoking, she would almost always smoke on special occasions and date nights out and she even allowed me to make a couple of videos of her smoking. We even incorporated smoking into our intimate activities on many occasions when we were able to be outside.
She never really enjoyed smoking and hated the smell on herself as well as the stigma attatched to being a smoker. The taste and dizzy feelings also kind of bothered her as well.
She still liked vaping quite a bit and we decided that it was a decent compromise. She vapes 3 or 4 evenings a week with me and we both enjoy it quite a bit. She has had one cigarette since she officially quit back in March and has said that she is open to smoking on rare special occasions like our camping trips. She would probably smoke on my birthday this weekend if I asked her to, but I won't make that choice for her.
As far as when we are out and about, she doesn't mind me watching other pretty ladies smoke because she understands why I am looking at these ladies and is secure in our relationship. She also knows that her part time vaping habit just doesn't completely satisfy this thing that is the fetish.
Occasionally she does get tired and bored of me talking about smoking and vaping but she tries to be supportive most of the time. We both have our passions and each gets tired and bored of the other's occasionally but that is the compromise that is marraige.
