I hear ya man and I love my tobacco too! I dipped Copenhagen snuff for alot of years and smoked at the same time, I'm a tobacco maniac man! and believe me, I like the real thing as much as the next guy, but with all these smoking bans going on we have to find an alternative and accept that it's only gonna get worse with stiffer rules and penalties, So I either use the e-cig or I'll get a tin of Copenhagen...better than nothing man.

:
: I dont smoke just for the nic. I smoke
: cause I enjoy it. And I wanna enjoy it
: inside where it's meant to be. Not outside
: in the cold/hot and rain/snow.
:
: I'm used to not smoking in public places.
: Doesn't mean I'm gonna patronize a
: smoke-free tavern for instance. I hear
: casinos by me (in IL) tried pushing for an
: exemption to the IL ban. IL's smoking ban
: went into effect in 2008.
:
: An e-cig is the perfect device for someone
: who just wants the nic fix. But I want the
: real thing when I smoke. I like the tobacco
: taste. No offense intended.

: Everyone is entitled their opinion Jay and
: don't get me wrong man..I really dig my cigs
: too, but it's only gonna get worse and for
: every smoker that refuses to visit a non
: smoking establishment...(restaurant or bar,
: from the statistics that I've heard from
: different sources)there are actually more
: non smokers than there were smokers filling
: them places up and a lot of businesses are
: doing just as good if not better, now that's
: what I've been hearing. Here in Ohio, we've
: been a non smoking state since 2006, but
: most of us just go outside and smoke or if
: it's a bar they provide us smokers a place
: in the back and sometimes we are even lucky
: enough to find a pub that has a back patio
: with tables, chairs and ashtrays, so..it's
: not really that bad man, you get used to it
: after 6 years.
:
: Alot of us folks who do smoke sometimes tend
: to push the panic button when it comes to
: not being able to smoke on a plane, being
: laid up in the hospital, at the ball park,
: in a restaurant etc. etc. but it's not the
: end of the world, in this day and age
: there's plenty of products that they make
: that can provide us smokers with different
: methods and gadgets to get our nicotine fix
: in some way or another, and I have to
: respectfully disagree with you about anyone
: trying to control us smokers man, it's just
: the simple fact that smoking is bad for us
: and alot of folks are offended by it, that's
: why they invented the e-cig, so folks like
: us can enjoy our nic fix and not irritate
: others that are in the same building and I'm
: surely not gonna irritate my child, my wife,
: or my pet with my smoking, it's not at all
: fair to them and it's selfish..only my
: opinion.

: The motive behind all smoking bans is to get
: all of us to quit. But no smoking ban is
: gonna stop me from smoking. I just won't
: bother eating in a smoke-free restaurant.
:
: If anyone thinks smoking bans are to show
: respect for the elderly, kids, and other
: nonsmokers, think again. It's all about
: controling the lives of those who enjoy
: smoking.
:
: First, it's ban smoking indoors. Next, it's
: outdoor bans (including bans outside on
: college campuses). Don't be surprised if
: more states/cities implement smoking bans
: within your own homes/cars 10 years from
: now. Smoking bans in apartments is actually
: a lil more common now compared to 5 years
: ago.
:
: If this was all about respecting health of
: the elderly/kids/nonsmokers, the sale of all
: tobacco products would've been banned before
: I was ever born.
:
: A smoking ban to me includes banning sales
: of cigs/cigars/pipe tobacco. Not just ban
: smoking inside public places. But nobody
: wants to ban actual tobacco sales. Cause
: the states depend on smokers like me to give
: em cash via cig/tobacco taxes.
