You know, I think it is just sad that smoking is perfectly legal as of the age of 18 yet the 75% of the population that doesn't smoke wants to make the decision for the rest of us as to where and when we can take advantage of this legal activity. I thought this was America where we had freedom of choice as long as we weren't doing something illegal.
I am perfectly fine with setting up designated areas as long as there are enough to access so that we don't bother people who are offeded by the smell, but a total ban on a college campus is just taking a legal choice away from someone who is of legal age and bans that try to limit smoking in your own residence are just downright facist!!!
Okay, I will get off my soap box. As a smoker, I always try to be polite and not smoke right by the entrance to any building and to always smoke where it won't bother other people unless they CHOOSE to be near me.
