Sorry chap, I've abandoned the other topic as it's getting difficult to read now! You said: Anyone else suffering because of NO boats and a DLR journey from hell? . Is it easier to get the D7 up to westferry circus and take the boat on from there? Yes, that's what I do. I've found it not just hellish but actually impossible to get on the DLR in any decent length of time in the mornings, if I try to go to Mudchute - I don't know if I just go for it at the worst possible time, but the platform's always jam-packed and each train that comes along only takes a couple of people at each door... The bad part about the D7/boat route (other than the fact that it takes considerably longer than the just-boat route!) is walking from the last bus stop before the roundabout with the traffic light sculpture over to the boat stop. It's a short distance as the crow flies, but because of the redevelopment works and having to cross the roundabout/walk up the ramp it's time-consuming and unpleasant. Still less so than staying on the bus all around Canary Wharf, though.
