Thanks Didi. I sent my metering scheme request form back to Thames Water last week. I haven’t heard anything from the ‘chap’ wanting to conduct the site survey yet. It sounds as though a few of us might be doing this. Hopefully Thames Water will process our requests as a job lot, which might speed things up. I suppose I’m hoping that I end up being offered the Assessed Household Charge, although I’d probably still be better off, if a meter could actually be fitted. Did the Thames Water person, that you spoke to, indicate when any revised charge would apply from? Is it from when you apply or from when they do the survey or from when/if they fit the water meter?
