Thanks for this Mike. Like Didi, I have a 1 bed flat in Chart and was being charged 254.88. Just called up Thames Water and they suggested they do a survey to see whether a water meter could be fitted. If it cannot, I would go on the Assessed Household Charge - saving myself about 50.00 on the current bill. They are sending out a survey form.... As per the thread, I'd be grateful to know whether anyone has got a water meter fitted.... Richard.
