Yes you could do that. If you do then you also have to take great care not to use the N-word. Last time I watched The Dam Busters on TV, the N-word had been completely expunged from the film. That’s quite tricky to do, given that the N-word was the name of Guy Gibson’s dog and the squadron used it as the radio code word for a successful breach of the Mohne dam.
