i only enter this string again as it seems to be going head long towards a solution that 1) is we know best and does not consult but dictates 2) assumes plumbing issues just happen by themselves. Although this can happen we the tap is left on the amjority of water dammage is as aresult of actions taken ie new bath, sink etc. It is not as if these flats are complex and people rip them up and redesign. So why not have a certification of works which can even be charged.
The alternative is mandartoiry inspections, and disputes between neibours and management on blame. I would be amazed if insurance companies would noyt be responsive to certification and the control of building works.
Can i ask that we seek some expert advice as none of us are experts and there may well be better ideas.
Anything that affects leases will incurr cost and can't be imposed without shareholder support. Another leason we should have learnt.108
