I was just up there this weekend and swam the beach area at the Black Bear course. I don't have an official temperature, but it was cold. I have a sleeveless suit and my arms were chilled. It was tolerable, but that depends on the individual I guess. I would get a wetsuit. My wife and I bought two from wetsuitwearhouse.com. It was shipped and received in one day. They have a nice return policy and our suits fit nice. Probably could go smaller but we are both beginners so, I'm not that concerned. I would just suggest ordering the smallest size you think you'll fit into or order two and return one.
