Posted by Paul Anderson on 4/22/2004, 3:01 pm I do not want to spend money on martial arts classes therefore I train with what little martial arts I do not want to spend money on training equipment(punching bag, wooden dummy),therefore I train without equipment,I train punching the brick wall. I therefore have come up with my personal standard formula for measuring the greatness of an martial artist. This is: (How much you have achieved) divided by ( how less you are physically X how less time you have X how less training equipment you have X how less techniques you know X how less sparring experience you have) = ( How Great you are). So if a man that is 4 foot tall, blind in one eye,has only one arm working, has only one leg working, has no training equipment, has not taken any martial arts classes, but he manages to come up with a hand-fighting-technique-self-defence style just within 2 weeks, and he self-trains on his own in just 2 weeks, and that self-defence style he created allows him to be able to knock-out 10 big, tough, viscious men that are 7 foot tall, and those 10 viscious men are armed with machetes, and they are out to kill him.But the small man who has trained in only 2 weeks in his own created hand-fighting-martial art style and he manages to knock-out all those 10 big, tough, viscious men.

I am scared of sparring therefore I do not want to spar,I train by myself.
techniques I know by myself.
Then I would say that small man is the GREATEST martial artist.
