When sparring in Dan Chi Sao I notice I use too much muscle. In regular two armed chi sao I use much less muscle and can divert and use the opponent's energy against him much better. But I still have the muscle problem in Dan Chi Sao. 1. What's the use of Dan Chi Gor Sao? 2. How can I improve myself faster than just practicing with muscle? I feel like I'll be hit if I don't use muscle.
