that would spell a g major chord which, in c minor, would be the dominant of the key. the B natural is called the leading tone because, as c minor normally includes a Bb, spelling the chord built on the fifth scale degree with a raised third (G Bb D becomes G B D) allows this chord to lead back to the tonic of the key quite naturally. playing the chords G minor - G major - C minor will demonstrate this very special musical relationship between the tonic and dominant in a minor key.
