Hi, I am attempting to study a few of the easier piano pieces by Chopin, and I was curious if anyone had a few helpful general tips to offer in regards to chosing which fingers to use for playing one note two times in a row (or more). In other words, if anyone has advice on the different options using correct technique of playing the same note more than once in eight and sixteenth notes.
There are very few fingerings in my Chopin
Waltzes book, but from what I can see, a common method of playing the same note more than once is to use 2 or 3 different alternating fingers to play the same note over and over again.
I would be interested if anyone has anything to add to my observation :) thanks!
