Hi people!
I'm trying to compose for orchestra, mainly learning "the art" of film music. I'm a little confused when it comes to arranging of parts. I know that the typical classical way of voicing (if having only 2 parts)is by using either thr 3rd or 6th. However, when voicing for 3 or more parts, I don't know whether I should use the 5th or the 6th, since they don't really sound very good together ;)
This might be a stupid question, just wondering if someone can explain this.
