Point well made. Anyone else care to comment on either Caleb or the "Concerned Reader"? What's the matter with Wuorinen's "Simple Composition"? It's intended to simplify things like the time-point system and to provide beginning composers with a foothold in what rapidly becomes a complex mathematical mystery, as demonstrated by Caleb's 12-tone postings. I have only perused the book, but somehow the offense escaped my attention.
