That was NC 4, the second year away from the Castro (we are back in the same situation now, BTW...) and the festival was split between the Palace and the Balboa, beginning at the former and concluding with four days/nights at the latter when Eddie clustered together films from 1946 (60th anniversary).
The Shelley Winters film shown at the Palace the day after she died was LARCENY. By virtue of the fact that it was released in 1948, it's back in the NC lineup this year, and will be shown as part of the Saturday matinee on January 21st.
