I may try to do a "genre breakdown" of it to confirm the points you're making about the other key 50s genres.
I think it will take a campaign from several influential voices in the critical community to get SOME CAME RUNNING into the Top 100, but it would be a worthy effort (almost as worthy as rewriting the history of French noir!). The new blu-ray version that came out late last year might be the springboard for that to happen--Glenn Erickson gave it the film a rave review in his writeup for the blu-ray.
