This "Double Indemnity" remastered release reminds of the days of long playing vinyl records. Record companies wanted to score some fast bucks by peddling recordings from the catalogue of the late Jimi Hendrix. So a new release would be issued containing four or five familiar songs plus one unreleased number not available previously. This scam went on for awhile in the 1970s.
I have forgotten the names of the record labels since a former friend was the audiophile who jumped at the opportunity to purchase the records. In one case, a new album consisted of a mere four numbers in total. Another featured an intoxicated Jim Morrison singing along with Hendrix. Morrison was shouting obscene lyrics while Hendrix laughed his head off while playing guitar.
