Many of the titles and commentary by Don and Solomon (you too, Dan) are making my head spin a bit. This neo noir listing is what Gord Gates would call a “good time waster” during these primarily stay at home days of Covid 19, therefore I’ll play around a bit with it, but only a bit. I took a look at some titles from my man cave “archives”. There are so many titles that have been previously listed, that some of these below may be duplicates, so just ignore them. I’m starting with the date Solomon used for his top 25 – 1967. I will leave it to you guys to determine the “noirness” of these picks, and whether they should be in the first, second or third list of 25. I have categorized them in my collection as “film noir”, “crime”, “mystery”, suspense”. I estimate that the majority of my titles between 1967 and 2019 are foreign in this category, so I will cull out the domestic product.
