Neely Swanson is game but needs an editor. QUAI DES ORFEVRES is a fine noir, but this is about the fourth go-round for it at this point (first restored in 2000 and re-released in USA in 2002, screened at NC 12 in 2014, now getting a digital re-release in 2018).
I also must say that Louis Jouvet is more interesting in both films he made upon his return to France prior to starring in QUAI DES ORFEVRES (Neely missed one--take your pick...it's either UN REVENANT or COPIE CONFORME...since it wasn't identified in the article, we may never know which one it was--but I'd bet some chump change that it's UN REVENANT.)
RIalto needs to move past its Becker-Melville-Clouzot stronghold. They hold the rights to MANEGES--that would be an amazing choice for a 2K/4K restoration. An Allegret-Signoret double bill might be a good marketing move to get more folks into the theaters--DEDEE D'ANVERS, anyone?
