Back in 2014, Noir City had a festival that showcased international noir. On the last Saturday of the fest, they had 5 French films that ran from noon to midnight, sort of a noir version of the Bataan Death March. This old geezer made it through all of them, but I was never rewarded with an "I survived French Saturday" tee shirt :-) Don has schedule three Gabon films on Saturday night, and you can never get enough of anything Gabin, imo. It's all a matter of how badly you want to see the films and mentally prepare yourself for the long haul. Instead of complaints we should just be thankful that Don has done a good deal of heavy lifting in making many of these hard to find titles available for our viewing.
