I think the "Mitchum/TV" event in Bologna was pretty underwhelming, despite the experience and expertise of the curators, and didn't take us any further into the enigma of Big Bad Bob than has occurred already. But then again culling through all those interviews to try to create something akin to a structure was probably not worth the effort, since there wasn't a lot of monetary compensation to be had for it.
The Castro picked a good group of films for Mitchum, but still a bit too meager IMO--wonder if they decided to do it the weekend after because it was easier to get the prints. I noted in the on-line feed from Mitchum/TV that the curators expressed regret that they couldn't show THUNDER ROAD in Bologna because they couldn't find a print. That doesn't seem to have been a problem for the Castro, fortunately!
