That's an understatement.
We saw it this past weekend. Act I moves nicely. Act II had me wondering - except for Corey Allen's performance - just a bit about what the hubbub was about. Then Act III: a complete nightmare in narrative, tone, performance and cinematography.
Also in Act III, there were some shots that raise the question whether the camera operator, Conrad Hall, took control of the proceedings, or he learned some lessons to be utilized by him later. Either way, they had his signature.
