Actually, Bob, this is the site I cribbed from (and sourced titles to you) some months ago when we were in the midst of hard-core (OK, soft-core...) research--it's a well-done site, to be sure, but what you'll find is that most (not all) of the titles catalogued here are in the next tier down from the films we are in the process of showcasing (at least from what we can tell from the French cinephiles who've been ahead of us WRT finding and evaluating these films).
We know now that there are close to 500 French noirs from the classic period--which is quite a far stretch from what people were thinking was the case even 3-4 years ago. A whole new world is indeed opening up at our feet...
Mike, you might want to check (if you have time/incilnation) is how many of these titles are known to John Grant. He has tended to be a bit "ahead" of Selby and Spicer in this regard...
