I Love Trouble (1948) Columbia
While not a great film, it introduced the character of Stuart Bailey (ten years later the detective of 77 Sunset Strip). The opening scene is clearly Westwood Village; other scenes harder to pin down...maybe Miracle Mile or Downtown. The 'missing girl' is said to have enrolled at UCLA (Westwood).
