The "rainy season" from July to August is slight compared to that of other Mexican cities.
There are a lot of industrial parks surrounding Queretaro, but the air quality here is really good. Mexico has tight pollution controls.
Although we wouldn't know it to look around us, because it seems pretty flat, we're high up in Queretaro. The elevation is 5.970 feet (1,820 meters), so considerably higher than Denver. I guess I got used to altitude in Mexico City, where my neighborhood was about 8,600 feet, because I don't have any altitude issues here (I certainly did have them in Mexico City).
