I drew up the list because it really helps to know what you are looking for. Many of those "holy grail" films probably emerged because it was well-known within the cineaste community that they were being sought. The BFI Most Wanted list has been very successful at flushing films out. My guess is that five years from now, at least half of the titles on this list of mine will have turned up.
If anyone has even faint leads on these movies, I'm interested.

I want to do more work on missing titles, specifically a whole flotilla of late 60s / early 70s low-budget films of many genres that are curiously elusive.
