What does this film have? It's like Blast of Silence (or vice versa) or like Dementia a bit or like Angel's Flight or like New Orleans Uncensored, I think it is, one of those New Orleans cheapo gritty productions on a shoe string.
What do these city movies all have that goes beyond the obvious bad acting, cheapness, dark and bad lighting, almost amateur feel, location work of times past?
They've dispensed with any Hollywood gloss. All glamor is gone. In its place is a real feel, something like Dragnet would go to and M-squad.
