Thanks. This tradition of inaccuracy is a frustrating part of any reading about movies.
One small point: you end your previous post on this topic by referring to Corkscrew Alley as the place where Joe, Pat, and Ann (am I remembering the names right?) grew up. By coincidence I watched this movie a couple of nights ago and I don't think there's any reference to Ann's growing up in the same neighborhood as Pat and Joe.
