The Grandison mansion (in THE UNSUSPECTED) seemed like a prime piece o'real estate, despite all the dastardly doings that went on there.
Which brings up the question: what single location in noir (we're talking residential here, no prison massacres a la BRUTE FORCE, please!) had the highest body count? I count two murders at the mansion itself, one that was set up at the house but occurred elsewhere, and two more attempted murders that occurred or were initiated on the premises.
