Definitely a weak link in Cahn's chain of tasty and sleazy B noirs. GUNS, GIRLS AND GANGSTERS and CAGE OF EVIL from roughly the same period are considerably better. As is his sci-fi horror noir CREATURE WITH THE ATOM BRAIN (1955). The man was clearly a "hit or miss" kind of guy.
