They missed the noir era,

Which actors of today would have fit into the film-noir of the classic era? How about Kurt Russell? Russell has aged well and has that world weary look that would be perfect as the vet detective or p.i. The late J.T. Walsh is another one who would have fit into film noir. Harvey Keitel needless to saw would fit. Sam Rockwell would make the perfect lowlife slimeball. For the ladies, Anjelica Huston comes to mind of course, but would not Jennifer Tilly be the perfect dame for all occasions! And of course the best actor to miss the classic era is Warren Oates. What noir would he not have fit into? Gord
