Bruce DuMont is a local fixture in Chicago where he has done some political reporting on radio and television. On Sunday nights, he hosts a roundtable program, "Beyond the Beltway," that is syndicated to other radio stations from WLS-AM 890 in Chicago. In a limited number of markets, a brief television version is aired. The television broadcast is much shorter than the two hour radio program. The television show is generally a half hour in length and it usually airs on public television stations.
DuMont as the driving force behind the Museum of Broadcasting Communications, which includes the Radio Hall of Fame. His family once operated the DuMont Network in the early years of television.
