The adventure noir, The Bribe, with Ava Gardner,Robert Taylor, Charles Laughton and Vincent Price is among the latest 29 films to be released by WB Archives...they now post a disclaimer with a link that allows you to view a preview of the film to determine the relative quality of the print. The disclaimer states that the film has not been remastered or restored...this may be as a result of customer complaints of the poor quality of some of their releases like Nora Prentiss which Barry Maxwell in his classic releases column blasted for being of mediocre quality.
I took a look at it and The Bribe looks pretty clean for those of you that may be interested. Other titles of interest are the 80's Death of a Centerfold with Jamie Lee Curtiss and Armande Assante and Michael Cain in Jack the Ripper. Another is the collection of the comic short series "Joe Doakes" with 63 shorts on the dvd.
