Dark City was one of the earliest noirs I taped from TCM. I knew almost nothing about noir at the time, merely that the dark, atmospheric nacht und nebel feel appealed to me and the description of the movie seemed to indicate that feel. I was right, too. Dark City may not be an alltime classic, but it's a nice example of film noir.
