Shack Out on 101 is playing in a few hours on TCM (11:00 PM Pacific time). I'm a "virgin" to this film but have heard a lot about it over the years, so I'm looking forward to this encounter. The movie certainly sounds like a one-of-a-kind, for better or worse.
I finally broke down and got cable TV again when I moved here to northern Nevada a couple of months ago. I was signing up for wireless Internet service at my apartment, and the agent told me it would be $10.00 cheaper per month if I got extended basic cable as well. How could I argue with that?
