No straight out noirs but some interesting titles none the less
Killer McCoy...from 1947...not The Set Up or Raging Bull but an above average boxing film with the Mick (Rooney) cast as the titular character with Brian Donlevy, Sam Levine and Tom Tully along for the main event.
Crossroads...1942 great cast with William Powell, Claire Trevor, Hedy Lamarr and Basil Rathbone...a "wrong man" story of a French diplomat involving a past life and blackmail... I found it to be an engrossing film .
Experiment Perilous 1944 think "Gaslight" lite with "The Face" Hedy Lamarr, George Brent, Paul Lukas and
The Kinkster, Albert Dekker
The Search with Monty Cliff, Wendell Corey and a mostly European cast...Clift as a GI, helps a young boy find his war lost Mom among the rubble of post war Berlin. More of a weeper than a "rubble-noir".
For you duster fans, a 5 disc Randolph Scott set is available at 1/2 price $49.95
ChecK the WB Archives site or WB Shop for more info on the other 15 odd titles in this latest wave.
""Is the casino vault armored? No, it's made of wood! -" Bob Le Flambeau" -1956
