Absolutely, John--BORN TO KILL is one of the most perverse, over-the-top, and compulsively watchable noirs in the canon. It's so good that we don't care how milquetoast Audrey Long and Philip Terry are in their roles--what with the two leads, and the wonderfully hammy character performances from Walter Slezak, Elisha Cook Jr and the one and only Esther Howard.
I just noticed, though, that when listing Bob Wise's noir credits, two films were inadvertently omitted: THE SET-UP and I WANT TO LIVE!
