I'd like to reserve Raw Deal as a NOTW that I'll provide in, I hope, the near future.
My reason for choosing it is because I know of no other film noir whose plot details have been so so frequently and inaccurately described. My efforts, therefore to provide an against-the-grain interpretation of the movie will be based on correcting the errors that have been made for decades about what takes place in the movie. This may result in a NOTW that, due to length, may have to be posted in two parts. I wish it would not be so, but then I wish I hadn't had to read for so many years plot summaries as well as commentaries about Raw Deal that can't be supported by facts.
