I would definitely interview the Appy State fella's. Obviously, those guys know what they're doing!
Stew made a good move with the coaches selection. Living in the Virginia Beach area, where Beatty coached Landstown HS to a 40-3 record, I can attest to the guy's popularity and success. Hopefully, he'll fit right in and do a good job. It's also known that he is very influential with the young players and can elevate just about anyone's skill level. Hope the WVU team mesh's with him well!
Obviously, the new coaches don't seem to have a problem with Stew and the "slur". Granted money and coaching advancement can have an influence too.

: Just wondering? What does Charlie Taafe
: know about the spread offense? Might
: this mean that Stewart will try to gear
: up a Charlie Russell type QB guy in the
: future? I could see that working with a
: Slaton-type guy and a more mature
: Devine in the back field.
:
: I would love to see Coach Stew
: interview both the Appalachian head
: coach and offensive coordinator during
: his search for the next three positions
: on his coaching squad.
:
: I think that Stew hit a home run with
: Holliday and Dunlap, but I sure won't
: cry a tear if Taafe doesn't join the
: squad.
:
:
: Stew could do a lot in equalizing his
: executive staff with at least half
: African Americans as assistant coaches.
: I would hope that would shut up all the
: ESPN and other sports' blogs about the
: defamation of character that Stew is
: being subjected to.
:
: To hear that Holliday is returning just
: demonstrates his commitment to his home
: state, and university. I hope the
: paperwork for his transition is not
: sitting on some clerical support basket
: at either end.
:
: Coach Stew, interview Appalachian State
: coache.
:
: What do you guys think?
