I can't answer about the service manual - I don't know. By the way, I just installed Metzler MCE Karoo tires. The front is the same size as the old Pirelli MT 21, But the rear is a 130/80-17 instead of a 130/90-17. The actual knobby to knobby width is the same size, but the actual diameter is about an inch smaller (I don't know how this compares to factory). I gained 3 to 5 MPH in top speed over the Pirelli MT 21 in size 130/90-17, as well as accelerating quicker and handling better on and off road. They seem to grip as good overall as the MT 21's did.

: Thanks for posting the tips on the KLR 250. I
: just got my 2003 broke in and will probably
: keep it stock for a few years. The tire and
: gas tank tips will help a lot. I am looking
: for a tank bag that works well on the KLR
: 250. Do you know if anyone prints a sevice
: manual?
