go for the 650 . i am 6' 1' 210 and had a yamaha 250 which was fine for me in the road and trails. then got married and brought the wife out on the 250 and struggled with hills . bought a 99 klr 650 and easily coast up the hills. there is a webpage somewhere where the editors of cycle mag took out the honda 650 suzuki 650 and kawasaki . 2 out of 3 said kawa, the odd dude said honda 650 cause its better in the trails but all around said bang for buck kaw. no one liked the suzuki. so do yourself a favor and get a kawasaki 650 . ed
