I have a 1989 650 and have been riding it for a long time. My brother went out to buy a 350 dr and I told him it was not enough motor and after 2 years low and behold he is looking to sell and buy a bigger bike. My suggestion to you is to go with a 650. Kawasaki, Honda , Suzuki are all great bikes.
