Fit of Darien pants for female

Hi all:
I'm considering the purchase of a two-piece Darien (Aerostich) Suit for my wife. She is concerned that since they are only sized for men, that the pants will not fit an average woman's variation between hip and waist. Does anyone of the female persuasion have experience with this garment? Can it be adjusted to a comfort level that would justify the price?
