Recall in the 60s my dad buying one at Sears after watching an in-store demonstration. On the way home, we stopped at the store and got a couple heads of cabbage so he too could make "mounds of delicious coleslaw." After just a few minutes that vein on his neck started bulging so I beat it out of the kitchen for I knew what was coming next and my ears were still pretty tender at the time. It ended up under the sink, never to be used again and he went back to buying pre-packaged coleslaw.
