Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom to one son (so far, hoping for another soon). Isaiah is almost 2. I have been using Montessori ideas and method and materials with him for about a year now. We have a playroom which we redesigned specifically to provide a Montessori environment and my husband and I built the shelves and bookcase for it. We have a prayer nook that we use all the time and pretty much our whole home has been opened for his use- if he can reach it, he can explore it!
I have been looking for a website like this for a long time! It must be fairly new. I am excited to send some pictures of our home for your photo album.
Even though my little student is not yet two, the ideas and inspiration of Dr. Montessori have been a great aid in his development thus far, and I am so excited for the coming years.
