Powers of the Crown in Ontario

So it appears that Ontario might be heading to an election 8 months after the last one. Realistically, is it within the LG's right to say no to the Premier's request to dissolve the legislature and call on the opposition to attempt to form a government? I know federally this can happen, but I'm not sure about provincially?
