My sisters both graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia (2006 and 2010), and "God Save the Queen" was played at both (as well as their metriculation ceremonies when they began attending). I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier and Nipissing Universities in Ontario, who both told me when I inquired that convocation ceremonies had been "modernized" and therefore "God Save the Queen" was no longer played.
